Day 01
Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple)
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple complex consists of five caves filled with Buddha statues and intricate wall paintings. The view from the top is breathtaking, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Midday
Popham's Arboretum
Explore this nature reserve that showcases a variety of Sri Lanka’s native flora and fauna. It’s a great place for a short nature walk.
Lunch
Enjoy lunch at Hotel. Try traditional Sri Lankan dishes or international cuisine, depending on your preference.
Afternoon
Dambulla Museum (optional)Visit the museum to learn more about the history and culture of the region. It's a smaller site but provides interesting insights.
Rose Quartz Mountain Range & Ironwood Forest
Explore this unique natural site, which is the largest rose quartz mountain range in South Asia. The adjacent forest is home to the Ironwood tree, Sri Lanka's national tree.

Habarana is a small town in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka, known for its strategic location and natural beauty. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by rich cultural heritage sites, Habarana serves as a gateway to several key attractions in the region, including the ancient cities of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, and Sigiriya. The town is a popular base for safaris in the nearby Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks, where visitors can witness large herds of elephants in their natural habitat. Habarana also offers serene landscapes, with picturesque lakes and dense forests, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

Morning
Sigiriya Rock Fortress
head to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, about 20 minutes from Habarana. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its ancient frescoes, gardens, and impressive rock-top palace. Be prepared for a climb, but the view from the top is worth it.

Lunch
Have lunch at Hotel. You can try traditional Sri Lankan dishes or international cuisine, depending on your preference.
After Lunch
Pidurangala Rock
If you have time and energy left, consider visiting Pidurangala Rock, located near Sigiriya. It's a shorter climb compared to Sigiriya but offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including a great view of Sigiriya Rock.
Evening
Return to Habarana for a relaxing evening. You can visit a spa for a traditional Ayurvedic massage or simply unwind at your accommodation.
Dinner
End the day with dinner at hotel.
Day 3
Trincomalee is steeped in history and culture. Visit the historic Koneswaram Temple, located on Swami Rock overlooking the ocean. Explore the temple complex, known for its intricate architecture and religious significance. Afterward, head to Fort Frederick, a colonial-era fort that offers panoramic views of Trincomalee. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas and learn about the fort's history. Departure from Trincomalee.
Day 03
Koneswaram Temple
Start your day with a visit to the ancient and beautiful Koneswaram Temple, located on Swami Rock. This Hindu temple is one of the most revered in Sri Lanka and offers stunning views of the ocean.
Explore the temple complex and the Lover's Leap viewpoint.
Fort Frederick
Head over to Fort Frederick, a historical fort built by the Portuguese. It offers a glimpse into the colonial history of Trincomalee. You can also enjoy a short walk around the area.
